It was purely a man dominated society who treasured to accommodate them oppressed. While going by the pages of this Bildungsroman, the struggle for independence is revealed.
As a narrator and the ally of Jane Eyre, Jane initiates this novel with a decade year old deprive full of anger and unregenerate attitude and systematically develops into a grownup woman with sensitivity, artistic, maternal, and harshly independent nature. At every stage of the novel, she faced rambunctious opponents among those around her. This happened usually because she every belongs to a lower kind class or because of her deprivation of economic independence. Jane was able to keep her spirit of independence high. She grew stronger in her ideals and beliefs with each conflict.
